International Support – Nigeria

In 2024, we joyfully celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Women of Faith Foundation UK and the 3rd Year of our community support initiatives in Nigeria.

Our work in Nigeria began with our partnership with the Vine Heritage Project in Abuja, where we support the safeguarding of hundreds of children in a rural area from harmful cultural practices and traditions that endanger their wellbeing. Through this collaboration, we have provided hygiene items, food supplies, and assistance with hospital bills to improve the lives of these vulnerable children.

Glory be to God; these children are now receiving support from various partners and living in better conditions, accessing education and adequate medical support; we are very grateful to God for His divine intervention towards Divine Heritage
In Ibadan, Oyo State, we launched a Farming Project—known as The Garden of Eden—to support widows and people with disabilities. Participants cultivate and harvest cassava and vegetables for their families’ consumption and also generate income through sales of harvest produce.

Additionally, our Charity Store serves the local community by providing access to free or low-cost clothing items. This initiative not only supports less privileged families but also helps generate modest income used to fund family support, medical bills, personal loans, and community events.

Also 2024 in Nigeria, we proudly awarded 20 widows with Business Start-Up Grants to help them develop practical skills and establish sustainable businesses.

Our team recently reviewed the progress of these ventures and the crop project, and we are delighted to report positive outcomes. The women’s groups are thriving and, in turn, extending support to other women in need—creating a beautiful ripple effect of empowerment and hope.

Women of Faith Foundation projects are also coordinated by our regional Directors and Managers in Nigeria.

TAP Teams engage to listen, encourage, support and pray with participants; we assist participants to recover from loneliness, anxiety, fear and any form of hardship experience to a state where the individual feels confident enough to speak up and seek professional help or strong enough to bounce back.
